The Ministry of Health today issued a clarification on the long queue in front of the vaccination center and said that they long queue is because of people came earlier than their scheduled time. MoH in a statement said that large number of people who have scheduled appointment from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm had arrived the centre early morning and this resulted in a long queue.

Kuwait’s Ministry of Health has decided to administer the second dose of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine six weeks after the first jab, instead of three months, a local newspaper reported. Citizens and residents began receiving messages for their second dose appointment in the past few days.

DGCA’s circular number 33 stated that those who receive two doses of the vaccines approved by Kuwait, like Pfizer BioNTech, AstraZeneca and Moderna, and a single dose of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine, are allowed to enter Kuwait. Those who have received two doses of unapproved vaccines in Kuwait like Sinopharm, Sinovac and Sputnik, mush have received at lease one additional dose of the approved vaccines in Kuwait.
