On board a fire truck driving through US wildfires

Poor humidity and active wind conditions have caused the Tamarack fire to grow up to 58,417 acres with 4% containment on Friday (July 23) in the state of Nebraska. Local emergency officers issued an evacuation order, providing escorts for residents as a shelter was placed at the Douglas County Community and Senior Center.
